We’ll then let you know if someone cancels and a spot opens up. No need to send payment until we confirm with you that you can come.
Balkanalia fees
Everything is included – tuition for classes, evening parties, meals and snacks, unlimited coffee, and cabin or camping space.
New in 2025: Subsidized tuition! Due to increased costs, we have to raise tuition prices this year. To make sure everyone can still attend, we are offering options to pay the full cost, a subsidized rate, or a “pay-it-forward” rate to help those in our community with fewer financial resources. We want to keep Balkanalia affordable for everyone!
Adults
Full cost: $440 until August 1 / $490 August 1 & later
Subsidized rate: $360 until August 1 / $390 August 1 & later
Pay-it-forward: $490 until August 1 / $540 August 1 & later
Children
Age 6–17: $220 (by July 31) / $245 (after July 31)
Age 5 and under: free
Work Exchange
Some half-price work exchanges are available. If interested, please fill out a work exchange application form before registering.
Cancellation policy
If you cancel by August 5, you will get a full refund. Cancellations after August 5 will get a refund of their payment minus $50, to cover expenses we will have incurred by then.
